Reducing the risk of money laundering from illegal wildlife trade
GLX This morning (May 18), at Cuc Phuong National Park (Ninh Binh), the Saving Threaten Wildlife Project, sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the Vietnam Banks Association organized a training workshop on capacity building and reducing money laundering risks from illegal wildlife trade.
Ms. Tran Thi Nam Ha - Deputy Director of the Central Project Management Unit, the Saving Threatedn Wildlife Project spoke at the Workshop.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tho - Deputy Director of Anti-Money Laundering Department of the State Bank, Vietnam has been taking many practical actions to improve the effectiveness of anti-money laundering.
The workshop is an opportunity for stakeholders to share information to reduce the risk of money laundering from illegal wildlife trade.
