On the afternoon of 30th December, the Binh Dinh Wood and Forest Products Association held the Woodworking Ancestor's Anniversary in the Year of the Tiger and the 2022 Annual Conference.
According to statistics from SMART data of Save VietNam's Wildlife, from June 2018 to June 2022, in Pu Mat National Park - Nghe An province, more than 700 violators were arrested, nearly 14,000 traps of all kinds and 107 guns were confiscated and 971 illegal camps were destroyed.
Contributing to prevent the consumption of wild animals, recently, nearly 70 food and wild bird businesses in the province simultaneously responded to the commitment of "say no" to the supply of wild animals for customers. This is considered a prerequisite action to contribute to the reduction of wildlife consumption, towards the goal of biodiversity conservation through the restaurant channel.
On the afternoon of June 24, Yok Don National Park celebrated its 30th anniversary (June 24, 1992 - June 24, 2022). On 3rd June 2022, in Moc Chau - Son La, the General Department of Forestry in collaboration with the Project on Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation in Vietnam (VFBC) held a workshop to consult on the contents of draft Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 156/2018/ND-CP dated November 16, 2018 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Forest Law. The workshop was chaired by Mr. Tran Quang Bao, Deputy Director of the General Department of Forestry.
