The Species Conservation Fund (SCF) is part of the Biodiversity Conservation Component of the Project on Sustainable Forest Management and Biodiversity Conservation in Vietnam (VFBC) financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), initiated by WWF-Vietnam and partners to strengthen biodiversity conservation in Vietnam through the participation of local organizations. Specifically, the Fund will provide funding to create opportunities for local organizations and research institutions to carry out activities that contribute to the conservation of priority species in the field. With this grant program, local organizations will undertake 1-1.5 year projects to strengthen their capacity in the conservation of globally threatened species. |
