Signing a financial agreement (50 million USD) to help adapting to climate change in the Mekong Delta

GLX On the afternoon of June 13, 2022, the signing ceremony of a limited financial agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the United States Organization for International Development (USAID) on agriculture adapting to climate change in the Mekong Delta took place in Hanoi. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Minister of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development – Mr. Le Minh Hoan and US Deputy Secretary of State - Mr. Wendy Sherman, Representative of the US Embassy in Vietnam, and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, USAID Office, and other relevant units.

This is the first bilateral cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and USAIDon agriculture to respond to climate change in the Mekong Delta.
