USAID supports the National Assembly of Vietnam in dialogue on wildlife protection policy

GLX On 25th April 2023, in Quang Ninh, the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a "Workshop to evaluate the implementation of recommendations for monitoring by agencies of the National Assembly on the implementation of policies and laws to carry out CITES.” This activity is part of the Saving Threaten Wildlife Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is jointly implemented by the Management Board for Forestry Projects of MARD and WWF.

The workshop was attended by more than 100 delegates from agencies of the National Assembly, delegations of the National Assembly, relevant Ministries and sectors and leaders of People's Committees, Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Forest Protection Departments from 23 provinces and city; experts, representatives of associations on animal conservation, non-governmental organizations...
