Enterprises commit to combat illegal wildlife trade
GLX On the afternoon of March 3, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Saving Threaten Wildlife (STW) Project in collaboration with the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) held a conference to strengthen social responsibility and fight against illegal wildlife trade, towards sustainable development.
Mr. Vo Tan Thanh - Vice Chairman of VCCI spoke at the Conference.
Ms Michelle Owen - Director of the Office of STW Project said she is always ready to accompany the business community to reduce risks related to illegal wildlife trade.
The Management Board for Forestry Projects (MBFP) - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry - Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) and WWF signed a cooperation agreement to implement the STW Project
Representatives of businesses signed the commitment on "Declaration of support against illegal wildlife trade".
The Management Board for Forestry Projects - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MBFP), VCCI-HCM and WWF will work together to implement the STW Project.
