Decree 29/2023/ND-CP on downsizing the payroll

GLX On 3rd June 2023, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and promulgated Decree No. 29/2023/ND-CP providing for downsizing the payroll, effective from 20th July 2023.

This Decree stipulates the subjects, principles and policies of downsizing and responsibilities for downsizing in agencies, organizations and public non-business units of the Party, State, and socio-political organizations. from central to commune level

The regimes and policies specified in this Decree shall be applied until the end of 31^st December 2030.

The following Decrees expire from the effective date of this Decree, including:

a) Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated 20^th November 2014 of the Government on the policy of downsizing the payroll;

b) Decree No. 113/2018/ND-CP dated 31^st August 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing some articles of the Government's Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated November 20, 2014 on downsizing policy;

c) Decree No. 143/2020/ND-CP dated 10^th December 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing several articles of the Government's Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated 20^th November 2014 on downsizing policy and Decree No. 113/2018/ND-CP dated 31^st August 2018 revising some articles of Government’s Decree No. 108/2014/ND-CP dated 20^th November 2014 on the downsizing policy.
