The training workshop was organized with the desire to inspire and enthusiasticize journalists and reporters in participating in the fight against illegal wildlife trade.
In an effort to reduce the demand for illegal wildlife products in Vietnam, the Saving Threatened Wildlife Project (STW) recently introduced a set of creative messages and images towards changing consumer behavior.
During the two days of 21 - 22 September 2023, in Phu Quoc City (Kien Giang province), more than 60 managers and domestic and international experts on tiger conservation participated in the technical consultation workshop on management plan for tiger breeding facilities in Vietnam.
Within the framework of the Viet Rural Marathon - Nghe An 2023: “Go to Vi Giam region with Faith”, the Saving Threatened Wildlife Project sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has coordinated with Nghe An Forest Protection Department organizing propaganda and awareness raising activities about wildlife protection.

This morning (May 18), at Cuc Phuong National Park (Ninh Binh), the Saving Threaten Wildlife Project, sponsored by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in collaboration with the Vietnam Banks Association organized a training workshop on capacity building and reducing money laundering risks from illegal wildlife trade.
Deploying the Cooperation Agreement for implementation of the Saving Threaten Wildlife Project, the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (VCCI-HCM) will coordinate with the Forest Protection Department and Dak Lak Provincial Business Association to organize the program “Business companion for Wildlife Conservation” with many practical activities.
On 25th April 2023, in Quang Ninh, the National Assembly's Committee for Science, Technology and Environment in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development held a "Workshop to evaluate the implementation of recommendations for monitoring by agencies of the National Assembly on the implementation of policies and laws to carry out CITES.” This activity is part of the Saving Threaten Wildlife Project funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), is jointly implemented by the Management Board for Forestry Projects of MARD and WWF.
