Local consultation workshop on environmental and social risks related to the implementation of REDD+ performance payment pilot program

GLX On 13 and 14 July 2022, the Project on Enhancing Sustainable Natural Resource Management (SNRM2) sponsored by JICA supported the Vietnam Administration of Forestry - Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to organize a "Local consultation workshop on socio-environmental risks related to the implementation of REDD+ performance payment pilot program funded by the Green Climate Fund" in Binh Dinh province.

 

Mr. Pham Vu Thang - Deputy Director of SNRM2 Project, Department of Consulting Management and Project Program Development, Management Board for Forestry Project participated in the consultation workshop.


Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, representative of the Vietnam Administration of Forestry, chaired the consultation workshop

Mr. Baku Takahashi, on behalf of JICA, spoke about the process of developing and submitting the project proposal to the GCF fund at the Regional Consultation Workshop
